Friday night practice

I can not wait until games start because then we will hardly ever have practice and I will not have to wait around until 6 tonight to have practice. It is my Friday night. Not that I have anything special planned, problem would be in bed by eight. But I would get to relax and that is what I am mainly looking forward too.

Looking for New house

So I got asked to move out of the place that I am living at right now, right? Well, I was looking at this house and put an application in on Friday. I called the lady to day if a descion had been made and I was rejected because in this 3 bedroom house, there were going to be three people living in it this summer and the Landlord did not want that many people living there.

60 hrs off

We finally get a day off from softball. Actually we get 60 hours off from softball we may have had one really early in the morning and then next practice be late at night. However it works out we just don't have practice for 60 hour and that is amazing. I din't not think I would ever see the day that we would have more then 48 hours off.

I never appericated my body, or realize how wonderful my body is until I six days of hard core practices at 6 am. My body has been so exhausted and yesterday was zonked out by 9pm. exhuasted!

can not wait for a break. I think coach was trying to be nice because he told us on tuesday night at 10:30pm that we were going to have practice at 6:am on wednesday morning. Oh my goodness, 2 practices with in 10 hr. exhausting! Well, we did and I was dragging all day yesterday. So much for Valentine's Day. Then, he also told us that night that we were going to have 6 am for the rest of the week. whic sucks but was probably better because we would have had an 2 practices within 10hrs. So I get to look forward to waking up at 6 am tomorrow morning.

Lots of snow

So it has been snowing since last night, and we probably got a good 3-5 inches of snow. Every public school got cancelled that are in the surrounding towns. Do you think william penn got cancelled? no. do you think that the morning classes were cancelled? no. So the snow has been blowing all day several of the professors cancelled their classes. School should have been closed all together. The worst part is, is that if classes would have been cancelled practice would have gotten bumped up. But no, now I have to wait until 8:30 tonight until practice

Working in the training room

Working in the training room can get interesting somedays. Somedays we have tape wars where we throw tape at one another. So my softball coach drives me crazy sometimes. I had ran a softball clinic back at my hometown to raise money for my spring trip. He tell me that since I have earned all my money that I don't have to work at these individualised clinics. I really don't know what I am suppose to do. I love the game but I am not going any futher then where I am right now. Is it really stil worth playing if I do not what to deal with the assistant coach anymore. I have never in my life met anyone who make someone feel so stupid, so worthless. Sometimes I just wish she would think about what she says before she says it. She has no heart, no compassion for people. That is why she is going to be alone with her dogs and she won't have anyone else. Because no one like to feel stupid and that is how she makes people feel.

I have played softball for a long a I can remember. My dream growing up has always been to play in college. Well, little did I know at the young age, when I got here that there was a JV and Varsity. So my dream has always been, I guess you could say, was to take softball to the furthest level. However, I find playing softball to be like a relationship. You can love it with all your heart, but it may not love you back. You work as hard as you posible can to try to make it work, but there is always someone better then you out there. And it hurts to find out that you are not the one, and there is a hole in your heart from the love that you had. However eventually the relationship has to end. The question is though, when and how?

to be or not to be that is the question? i feel that I have busted my butt for the last two years hoping to get a starting position for this year. I was wrong. I have decided that I don't care. I am sick of being the athlete that devotes themselves completely to the sport. I have no social life because of the sport, I actually lift and lift hard, I always do what coach says, and for what? To be depressed like I am. I got replaced by a person who has never played second, and doesn't not what she is doing and is not graceful like I am. I don't know what more I can do. I am really contiplating how much longer I want to play. Yeah I love the sport and I love the competetion but there is no competetion playing jv. no competetion because we always loose. There is no reason for playing, no goal to strive for anymore. so i have to ask myself: Do i want to be a softball player?

Today is super bowl sunday. I really do not have any plans of where I am going to watch them. Really, I am only going to watch the it for the commercials.
