Toshiba HDTV

One item that my boyfriend and I really want for Christmas is a flat screen HDTV. Just when we though that this item was a little out of our price range, I have recently discovered the toshiba HDTV. They have really good prices. The 15" is only $316.96 or how about the 19" for $429.99 or even better the 23" for $509.00. I don't know if I actually will get it, but it sure would be nice to have. Zoloft make you sleepy

One of the medications that I am on for my heart problem is Zoloft. You may be thinking, "Why would you be on an Antidepressant for a heart problem." Zoloft stimulates different part of the brain, so it is to help the blood circulation throughout my body.

My father asked the Doctor a good question, "What will this do to her mentally since she is not depressed?"

The doctors response is that since I am not depressed the side effects of the drug will kick more. So I have been extremely tired. Yesterday I had a 4 hour nap and had a good night sleep too. I also had an hour and a half nap today and I cannot wait until it is time to go to bed.

Good News but Bad News

I went to the Doc yesterday to get my test results. The good news is that my arteries are fine, I won't have to have surgery like I thought I was going to. The bad news is, my doc is stumped so he is referring me to a different Doc. This doc specializes in the electrical aspect of the heart. I won't be able to see that Doctor until December 21st. So, until then I still get to feel like crap.

Mental Stimulation

I have had one person RSVP to my special invite and that was Mental Stimulation. I viewed her blogs and the on I personally enjoyed the most is Mental Stimulation. Just the name of the title remind of how I have felt as though I needed some Mental Stimulation. Went I checked it out the first thing that grabbed my attention was the Funny pictures. I knew that I was becoming addicted because lately, I have to fight with my boyfriend to use the computer because I want to blog, or read other peoples blog. I sit in class and not paying attention because I am blogging either reading or writing. I get up early to check my blog reports and to view the people who recently viewed mine. I stay up later than normal to blog. This stuff is really addicting.

My first Christmas tree in my place

Ryne's parents had an extra fake Christmas tree, and they let me borrow it. So, last night I was really excited to put it together. Cami, Ryne's mom, even gave me lights. This is the first Christmas tree I have ever had of my own. The sad this is that there is only one ornament.

Old man and his nagging wife.

My Nativity Scene

I am getting really excited for the Christmas Holiday. I knew in my apartment somewhere I had a Nativity Scene, and I found it. So, I set it up on Friday. This Nativity scene may seem a little aged but it means a lot to me because it used to be my grandma's. I miss my grandmother a lot. My father and I were going through stuff in the attic to clean it out. I told my dad right way that this was mine.


My favorite part of these characters is that baby Jesus is a toddler and has lots of hair. It is not really the image that comes to mind when I think of the manger scene, but it is what it represents on this joyous holiday.

One the Thing that every Blogger should have...

I think that there is one thing that every blogger should have on the site and that is a BlogRoll or something like it. Yes BlogCatalog and MyBlogLog are nice, and they provide a picture that everyone can see; however, it takes too many clicks to get to see one person's blog. Today, I went to the Speedcat Hollydale Page, and there is a long list on people sites . I have been simple been going to one site right after another with less clicks. This makes it a little easier and I can get to more sites. So, those of you who don't have one. Get one the are simple and nice to have.

I love having Extended Weekends

I have not had class since last Tuesday, but on Wednesday I had to take my PPST. Thursday was Thanksgiving. Friday I had to work but I just messed around on the Computer. Yesterday, I didn't do much of anything, got Groceries, spent a little time on the internet, and finally I was to bored I resulted to doing homework. When I woke up this morning, that was one of the first things I did. Homework. I have caught up and am a little ahead of schedule. It is kinda nice having to stress out about anything.

1 Full Week of regular Classes

Okay its not even close to June but I am getting excited that the end of the semester is coming. For some reason this was the most painful semester to take. I didn't even have a lot of home work or anything.

With the end of the semester coming up I have a few things to finish up like my WebQuest project, my Lesson Plan for Human Relations for Teachers, I have some notes to type up because that is the best way for me to study, For semester tests.

I am not as overwhelmed as I was last year at this time. I have only one three page paper to write instead of 4 ten page papers. I cannot wait until Christmas Vacation. I get to go out to Virginia to see two of my sisters, my brother-in-law, my niece and Nephew.

Renee Eats Underwear? What?

Oh my friend Renee, she is a character. She makes me laugh. I played a joke on her, she being a young freshman in college at the time, I asked Renee, "Renee, what are you eating under there?"
"Huh?" she replied.
I asked her again with a confused look on my face, "what are you eating under there?"
Renee answers, "Under Where?"
I laughed at her relpy. I said "You're eating Underwear? Ah HAHAHAHA!"
Renee was embrassed. She admitted she eats underwear.
I told her that it is not very healthy and she should stop. I, not trusting Renee, had checked up on her the next day.
"Renee, did you get underwear last night ?" She replies smiling, "I am sober-free." Not realizing what she said. Now its our joke and I have to keep asking her to make sure she is sober and not sober-free.

What to ask for, for Christmas?

Throughout the year, I want this and I want that. But once the Christmas holiday rolls around I don't want anything. I think and I think I just don't know. From my dad I usually ask for something for softball. From my mom I usually ask for electronics. From Ryne, well I don't even remember what he got me last year. I just don't know what I want. The only thing I know is that I just want my heart to feel better.

Family History of Heart Problems?

You know when you go to the doctor and they ask for a family history for certain problems? They ask you like you keep the medical records of your family in your purse or wallet.

Well, I was talking to my father yesterday, he was driving to Virginia from Iowa. He asked how I was feeling. I told him I was doing fine. Then I told him that I was doing research about what heart problems I could have either Arotic Stenosis or Arotic Regergitation. I told what they were and he was like "Oh well you know your cousin Marc has problems with his vavle closing all the way". I was thinking "Dad why did you not tell them doctor this when we were at the docs office."

Oh well, now I find out Wednesday whats wrong with me.

So I have been trying to find pages that are unique, Genuine, and isn't a lot of hipe on how to make money or to get more traffic. I recently had Speedcat Hollydale Page comment on Life is like Driving: Sometimes we Swerve off the Road. In the begining of my analogy I Quotes Psalms 3:23 "For all have sinned have falling short of the Glory of God." He told me that this was a great verse to remind people not to judge because we all make mistakes. I guess I never looked at that verse that way but it does give an excellent point.

Happy Thanksgiving to all who Participate

So I was having a blonde moment the other day. On some sites I would read something about Thanksgiving, and on others nothing. Then I started thinking, "Duh, Thanksgiving is only in the US." So, now I feel retarded because it didn't even phase me.

Well to all those who partake in the joyous day of vacation and food, Happy Thanksgiving! Since, I could not go home for the break, I am going to my boyfriend, Ryne's Aunt's house. I hope have everyone has great and safe holiday!

Life is like Driving: Sometimes we Swerve off the Road

Some people believe that you have to live everyday of your life for God and that you should never get off path. Although that is ideal, even the Pope can hits the gravel. "For all have sinned and all fall short of the Glory of God" Psalm 3:23.

Some time or another we will all hit the gravel and swerve back onto the tar. The gravel is a little bumpy and may be a little scary, but it usually doesn't last long, then you find your way back to the tar. Sometimes, though you can't find your way back and end up in the ditch. It will be a little harder to get back on the road; you just have to get a tow truck to pull you out. Sometimes you can get out yourself, it takes a lot of work but it is possible. But other times that tow truck is there for you, it holds on tight because it doesn't want you to fall any further. At this time, hold on tight. Take advantage of that help, and don't fight it. If your pull away, your truck will pull away, and their won't be any help until the next tow truck comes around.

I was busy taking my PPST test to day, if you don't what that is check out my blog on Wish Me Luck!. Anyway, my brain was in deep thought for four hours, and now, my brain feel drained and completely exhausted. Oh, this does not happen to me very often, only when I take tests back-to-back, like on semester test day. But does this happen to anyone else? Or am I alone in this exhausting feeling?

I had gotten a response from Mental Poo saying that he wanted to do a link exchange with me. Well, I checked out his page, and to my surprise I see a turkey that has tan lines. I know its the first snow fall... but really?

I took my PPST and I past two of the three test, the other I won't know until a fews from know. I went to Iowa City to take the test. It is an hour and a half from where I live, and you will never guess how long it took me to get home. It took me two and a half hours. People on I-80 were driving 50 in the fast lane. SERIOUSLY! IT IS NOT EVEN COLD ENOUGH FOR THE GROUND TO FREEZE! Yeah it is slushy but we can still control our vehicles going over 50 mph. I am home. The snow is falling and I don't have to go out again until tomorrow.

I am not looking forward to today! Do you know what I have to do? I have to take the PPST in order to get into the Teacher Education Program.

For those who don't know what the PPST is , it is the Praxis I. It is like the ACT test or SAT tests. The test consists of three parts: Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic. In order to pass the Reading and the Arithmetic have to be a least a minimum score of 168 a piece. The Writing has to be a least a 170.

I am getting nervous. Anyway I won't be back posting til 5:30 central time. To Mental Poo and Apu's Blog I haven't forgot about you!
