Gas Price up result in Bike riding

I am a poor college student. I just got back down to Oskaloosa where I go to school. The gas prices have reached a high here at $3.99. So, I have decided to ride my bike where ever I can. I do not want to pay more for gas that what I have too. the north side of Oskaloosa is bike friendly. I rode my bike on the South side, and I almost had to stop and walk my bike up the hills. How embarassing. Its not that they are steep, they just the ones that never end. I made it though. It will take a lot for me to have to get me to ride my bike on that side of town again.
